There was a lot going on this past weekend on Cat Country. Wingnut had a live broadcat at Appliance Word and Bryan Waters was broadcating live from Quality Inn for Goldman's Too. Alisha was at the new Phil Long Ford Used lot.

I was able to get out and see Tracy Byrd Saturday night. I want to say thanks to Tim the manager for being such a cool Cat! I thought it would be more packed but it's been a while since Tracy Byrd has had a hit single on the radio.

At times it seemed as his band was a little lost on some of the songs - the past couple of times I've seen Tracy Byrd he's had new band members so maybe their still learning some of his tunes. For the encore Tracy stood on the stage for several minutes trying to think of some songs to do - that seemed kind of weird - the band even started a song and Tracy stopped them - that was kind of weird too. The show didn't seem real polished but Tracy was singing great once he got a song started. For an artist who's been doing this as long as he has I guess I expected a little more from him in the entertainer department.

The next Tracy Lawrence show will be in Denver and I'll be making my way up to that show too. He'll be at the Rose.
